Friendly service, great location, terrific ocean view from hotel room, ocean-view terrace and kitchen were great for preparing our own meals to enjoy in the open. Parking space and tv also came in handy, though for my husband, the air conditioning and roll-down shutters were more vital to getting a good night's sleep!
Fridge needs to be emptied of all the old guests' leftovers. Otherwise, we were really happy!
the peolpe and location
Its location, confortable price, quainted and friendly staff.
patio by beach, location,
kind of cramped
Convent location & good ocean view.
Room was too small, basic, needs updating.
the lady mgr. Mrs. Lanchey was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful.
lobby needs to be conditioned and needs architectural update... very blah exterior and interior
The owner is one of the nicest ladies we have ever met. She made us feel welcome and at home. The patio overlooks the beach and beach access is close by. The room was kept clean and neat by an efficient staff that was also very friendly. Dining and shopping was nearby, as well. This guest house is very quaint and comfortable. We highly recommend Aleli by the Sea Guest House.
I stayed there for 5 nights . I get tired of work and I needed vacation for relax. this place was the best choice for this trip. !! I work in new york and travel a lot for work. stay fancy hotels etc... but I really needed this friendly relaxed room . funitures are old and I loved it . I come to puerto rico and I really wanna feel it . so it was perfect ! balcony was great to realx day and night . and I felt a lot of freedom in this hotel and very comfortable . !! some ppl mentioned about there is no direct access to beach. and I notice that they shut it down . I think because of safe reason . people who work there leave 8 pm and no one can watch balcony , and if there is access, someone crazy would jump in to hotel , so I feel safe without access . I really want to keep this place secret ,because I really want to come back anytime I want ;) this place made my trip really amazing .
toilet is small . but its ok , I could survive .
The lady running the place is very nice. Wish we could find her kindness in a place that would spuce up the place a bit. The rooms and linens are kept clean.
When it said "Ocean View",beachfront, silly me, when I booked online, I thought I would have access to the ocean from my room or at least from our building. Too bad they haven't updated the building for so long. The lobby smells like they did a good job of cleaning up the cat pee. Its not a bad place, why don't they update it a bit? Then we could say all nice things-small, not fancy, but clean, good value-
The proprietor was one of the kindest and most considerate inn-keepers that I have encountered. I felt like I was staying with friends.
Location is next to the beach and the Condado night life; the reception lady was friendly and tried to provide as much information as possible. Air condtioning worked nice.
Not dirty but not fully clean; if you are "picky" with cleaning don't stay there. The parking is difficult as you need to remove other guest vehicles yourself to take yours out. You get what you pay for (in an area where hotel room night is almost $200 and you pay less than $100 you can't expect the same).
Location, rate, Place is clean.
Maybe a Renovation and new furnuature.
cute little balcony on the beach front with chairs to lay out on. Lady at the front was so nice and helpful with booking tours and info. close to resturants and bars and a few cute dress shops
The location was wonderful, the ocean view was gorgeous, and at night the beach is super nice and safe to walk down. And although sparse, the accommodation was very nice, and we had everything we needed. The woman at the front desk (ugh I forgot her name!) was absolutely helpful and wonderful and sweet. If you go to Poncé, buy her some genips on the side of the highway. This place is nothing fancy, but if you want a place to stay while you go out and explore this beautiful island, this is a good choice.
I wasn't mad, but some people might be, on Friday and Saturday nights the bar/club next door gets really really loud. We just decided to go ahead and stay out late, but we are used to that because we work as bartenders in the states. If you were planning to get up at 6am, you might not like the noise level.
Hospitality and freedom were my favorite. For $5 we could do laundry (unlimited). The gal who works there (red hair), was so sweet. She made sure everyone felt welcome and accommodated. She lent us a cooler for all our travel needs. And the community kitchen was budget friendly as well!
It didn't seem like our linens was the cleanest? Only down side. Oh and our maid tossed a receipt out that was folded about 5x and stratigically wedged into the shelf hanger hole of a snorkel set I wanted to return.
